Empowering Children Through Education

Many poor and orphaned children are unable to attend school in remote villages. This education is important in helping secure their future. Some children are from unrecognized people groups who are often tricked or taken advantage of because of their lack of education.  Children are learning to read and write English. Many families live in remote villages with no schools available, without these schools many children would not be able to attend school. In other schools education quality is lacking and many time teachers don't show up to teach because they are not local to the village and are not vested. GGH partners with local villagers who have a vested interest in the success and education of the children. This approach empowers local leaders and is sustainable.

Vocational Training

We have started a trade school where adults can learn valuable trades and skills such as carpentry, brick making, and much more.

Skill training learning to make bricks

Below: The vocational school students are building bathrooms for a local school. These ministries work hand in hand and as the vocational school students are learning they are also putting their skills to use.

Through the one year hands on training students are learning every skill needed to build a house i.e. carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding, masonry, and more. Hope Skill Training  is not just about learning the trades, but also about building a firm foundation in Jesus. We have integrated one-on-one discipleship throughout this training.
